Sorry mods if this cant be here feel free to delete... but i was woundering what the cables you need to put the firmware on a 360 are.... Me, my bro in law, and my cousin all have modded systems, and none are connected to live at the moment and we dont wanna each pay $20 for the guy that did the origgional modding to re do them so if someone could point me in the direction of where to bye the cords and other stuff i need that wold be great!!!

well it depends on what kind of drives you all have beacause if you have a lite on you are gonna need ck3 and a probe and a sata cable if you have an older drive you should only need a sata cable.

Chances are at least one of them has a Liteon, so yeah he/she can expect to pay at least $20 for the tools.

That's not all that you need. That is just the SATA controller. Here's what I have:
Xbox 360 Connectivity Kit V3 and USB Solderless Lite-on DVD Key Extractor Combo - Game Console Adapters

Erm... Nokia DKU5 cables work just as well, if you've got all the resistors you can make the cable yourself too. Newer lite-ons do not require a JTAG probe, I belive they are firmware v. 83850c.

For my samsung I didn't need to buy anything. You use sata cables to connect your 360 drive to your PC. And my NForce sata controller worked fine.

I don't know for Lite on drives though, I need to figure it out soon since I have a new xbox.

if you're flashing a liteon itll cost you $40+ with supplies and stuff...

and of course you need to have intermediate computer knowledge and know what you're doing or else you will get just a motherboard or a very overpriced dvd player

Anyway, I have 2 unmodded consoles now and will be flashing 1 with the new and hopefully undetectable firmware that is being made right now.

If they are already modded you dont need a key extractor. All you need is a sata cable and if you dont want to use the xbox for power a connectivity kit.
