hi

i remember a while ago doing this thing where if i download an arcade game any but it with microsoft points i could then recover my gamertag on my mates xbox and download the same arcade game which i had already paid for onto his xbox we then both had the game and could play over xbox live, does anyone know if this still works, if so anyone want to try it, trusted members only.

wrong, its the other way around if you want it to work

go over your "mate's" house, buy it there, then just go back to your house and recover and download and you both have

What Vato said, but if you want to play the game on your 360, you'll have to be online.

but will we both be able to use the content me on my account and him on his account?

He could use the content in your account if you give him your account. If you already downloaded the content on your 360, give him your account and let him download the content. In order for him to use it though, he would have to have your account and he has to be on XBL.

Yes you can both use it. But you both have to be connected to live.

Not really, the one console that has the license for the games doesn't have to be connected to live.

I think I've explained this on here before, but I know how it all works because I've dealt with these sorts of things time and time again.

If you want any XBL content for both you and your friend, you have to download it on his xbox through your account first. Technically, it licenses the cotent to his xbox, but to your profile.

All the accounts on his Xbox will be able to use the download once you leave, but once on your xbox, only your profile(the one you bought the stuff with on his xbox) will be able to use the content.

Hope that makes sense
