I think it has to be forwarded. I just checked and I think Microsoft automatically gave me 160 points. I can only forward it five more times, though.

It's not working. I got the XXXX-XXXX-XXXX... crap code in the email, too... Clicked through to my account (no MSP increase) and still unable to redeem, either on the redeem page on on one of the specified items.

I think there is supposed to be a code in that space, but for some reason the 'forward to a friend' is not working properly?
