You get a 3 month license then you have to get a new key. So when your first 3 months expire, see below.

So follow these steps:

a) Every 3 months, go here COMPUTER BILD: Login and sign in.
b) On the web page, select and tick the second check box which says Personlichen Lizenzschlussel anfordern oder verlangern.
c) Click on Lizenzschlüssel anfordern button.
d) Another email will be sent, together with a common activation license key code to activate Kaspersky Security Suite CBE 2009.

If you are near the end of your initial 3 month period, there will be a Kaspersky popup letting you know there are x-days left and it gives you some renewal options.
e) Click the activate online option and enter the key code from (d).

Taken from a fatwallet post, + rep if you want. I seen someone post about kaspersky 2010 here, but I don't know if that was the security suite or just the standard virus scan. This one has more built in.

DON'T USE THIS
All tho this is a good find, don't use Kaspersky. Go for AVG for your anti-virus and Comodo for your firewall
