Does anyone know how to download the videos from http://hulu.com?
I don't really want to use a screen recorder, and I was hoping there was just a way to snag the FLVs.

There's plenty of FLV Downloaders around. Check the Firefox Extension page, there should be a couple.

Yeah, it doesn't work with standard FLV downloaders, but people managed to crack the netflix streaming stuff, so this shouldnt me that much harder. also: this shady software site claims to have a solution, but looks really illigitimate.

Alright, I got ReplayMedia Catcher, and It's not exactly working. It shows very small .smil files throughout the playback.

oh and one more thing: what is foxdirect? I couldn't find it.

FOR ANYONE STILL WONDERING:
Downloading hulu videos is really really easy.
Get Orbit Downloader, and make sure to install it into your browser during setup.
Launch the "grab++" tool.
Load the hulu page with the desired video.
Select the file in grab++ that is marked as "FLV".
Click "download".
Wait until it has downloaded 100kb or some other comperable amount, then you are free to close the page.

I hope it eventually becomes possible to download from Hulu, I'd like to be able to put all my episodes of The Simpsons and The Office on DVD without interruptions from those annoying promos or breaking news tickers.

I have tried applain and it doesn't really work any more. I found a product called Jaksta Download and Convert Web Video, Music and Radio with Jaksta - Home and have had no issues when downloading hulu

Riptiger doesn't work with hulu anymore also all the software in the posts above gives errors like can't download video and stuff. I find Hulu Grabber thats the only one I found who still works Downlaod from hulu, cbs, comedycentral etc...
