Sentence makes no sense to me.

It was a nOOb person who was trying to show his intelligence but got PWNED.

I think the sentence is supposed to be "Not all emails are automated unless specifically noted."

And if it was a person typing that, they could've made that easy mistake, but it could also be a clever bot that acts human and made the mistake on purpose.

they're not automated they just have a bunch of preset answers they can reply with so they don't have to type out the same thing every time.

You DO realize this is 2008, right? and that using a $ in MS has not been considered clever for ALMOST A DECADE!

Um, its pretty obvious they aren't automated. They simply have a list of phrases to use. They just standardize the process. So when people bitch at them over and over about not getting their cheated items, they don't bother adding a personal touch.

Im not saying its a system where they click a button and it pastes a phrase. The customer service reps/ workers/whatever are given a standarized list of responses to use, most likely, and it seems in this case they must type them out. Thus there was a typing error. haha
