Default now they are getting ridiculous

So, they fianlly responded to my specific problem regarding the camcorder that I was told shipped on July 18th, but still is showing Billing Information received.

After getting several standard form replies of "The item is back ordered" and "Prizes may take 12 weeks", and me finally saying that I did't want to get another reply that didn't specifically mention the problem, they finally did...sort of.

They actually had the nerve to tell me that the prize is back ordered and that they printed a label to "reserve" my prize for when it comes in.

Yeah...that makes sense. I replied asking them why I was told that my prize had shipped. I bet I get one of the first two standard responses.

They did that to you on purpose so that they can come check any CL forums to see who's pissed

I'm assuming you botted it.

Plus this isn't a unique situation at all. A lot of the threads here are about how people didn't recieve their prizes yadayadayada but at least you got all of the other shit that's in your sig.

y are you making a thread about this. nobody cares that you order some camcorder and haven receive it your not the only one. you order on july 18 and already started complaining some people still haven got their stuff from may. somebody close this pointless thread. mabe next time you should read the stick Club Live Superthread And FAQ

Yes, as DigitalDNA said, this is worth talking about. kiteman is telling us about how not only did he ask for and not get a prize yet (which we see too much lately from one other member, and that is just stupid bitching that we don't need) but kiteman has actually gotten shipping conformation but never got the prize.

That IS different and interesting.

Hey, maybe you'll get lucky and they really did already ship it and it just hasn't arived and your complaining to them will cause them to send a 2nd one and you might get two!

Or maybe they are doing what lolcatz said and you will get nothing.

I didn't bot. And I don't care about getting the prize or not. It is them sending me a shipping e-mail over a month ago, and then it not coming.

Regardless of the crap they made up to try to shut me up, there clearly is a box with my name and address on it, that contains the camcorder sitting in the corner of the warehose somewhere. Either than or someone stole it before it got to UPS. It makes no sense that they would print out a shipping label otherwise. They pay UPS the minute the print the shipping label. So why would they pay for something that they are not ready to ship for over a month?

You could work at Club Live with your lack of reacing comprehension. I ordered the camcorder on May 8. It received a SHIPPING E-MAIL of July 18th.

BIG difference. I was told over a month ago that my prize had SHIPPED (as I cleaqrly wrote in my OP, but you apparently were unable to comprehend) not that I ordered it.

I have a tracking number and everything.

Maybe instead of telling people to read a superthread, you should read ANY thread. I mean, once your reading level gets beyond that of a first grader. If that ever happens. PErsonally I doubt it. What with the public school system and all.

Wow, kiteman, why are you making such a big deal about that post. He made a valid point for what he thought was going on, he just didn't know all the details and therefore said something that in retrospect might not of been best, and he said things in a negative and very stupid way, but hey it was a small mistake and his post was valid (again, for what he (mistakenly) thought was going on). Not like he went on flammnig you or anything.

Only reason I can see you acting like this because of that post would be if he DID actually blindly say that stuff in a negative way to you and neg repped ya in which case, yeah that's wrong.

Dude, if he was being stupid and neg reped ya, tell me, I will be on your side on this and plus rep ya to make up for it, otherwise, no biggie, small misunderstanding, let it pass.

there was a thread for something similar to this with controllers where they sent tracking emails and the tracking through ups was messed up and we didn't receive the controllers
emailed club live and they were looking in to it for over a week now

2 shipping emails for controller

I thought of the possibility of getting two. But unless I keep at them, I think the greater possiblity is with nothing. Not because of being flagged or anything. I ordered this on an account that I have since gotten 50,000 tickets worth of other prizes.

My fear is that unless I keep pestering them, they have no reason to act anymore. As far as they are concerned, they have already fulfilled my prize. Once they printed a shipping label and attached it to a box (most likely one with a camcorder in it) and sent me a shipping e-mail, their database surely moved that order into the FULFILLED column. So as far as they are concerned, they don't owe me anything anymore.

I'd be better off if I never got any second e-mail from them.

Give me a break. He tried to flame based on his own ignorance. And it wasn't an understandable ignorance. It was ignorance brought out by stupidity. He didn't READ my original post or else he would have realized how idiotic his flame was. I clearly stated that I received a SHIPPING e-mail on July 18th.

If you think I am going to feel bad for flaming someone who flamed me for an invalid reason, you are nuts.

As for reps...why on earth do people care about rep points? Seriously...what does that get anyone? I am not on any internet message boards to win popularity contests. At the end of the day, rep points don't pay the bills or get the girls. (For the love of god, pleaes don't anyone say that they have tried to pick up members of the opposite sex by mentoning their rep point total on any website!)

Again...if someone is going to flame someone for something they say, they really need to make damn sure that it is valid. Otherwise you can be damn sure you are going to get a taste of your own medicine.

That is similar, but not quite the same problem I have had. At least those controllers actually made it into the UPS system. The mixup was probably on UPS's end. My camcorder was never picked up by UPS.

I DID, however, get that same e-mail a couple times. They seemed to alternative between the "Prizes could take 12 weeks" and "This is on backorder" e-mails, until I made it perfectly clear that It had been over 12 weeks. Then the responses alternatved between the backorder on and the "we are looking ito it, please be patient" ones. That is until I got the latest blatant lie.

I would bet 1 million dollars (That is 100 million club live points worth!) that if/when I finally DO get my camcorder, that the tracking number will NOT be the one that I received last month.

Again, they really should be happy I am telling them about this. They are the ones getting screwed somehow. They had to pay the shipping cost for an item that does not exist anymore. When people, or companies have hteir own shipping labels printed, they are billed as soon as the order is generated. So they were already billed for that shipment.
