Ive been hearing that the apartment trick doesnt work any more, n e 1 know a new way to do it?

i think some sites reference usps to confirm and correct addresses...so sometimes these tricks will not work

Nah abbreviations won't do anything.. they change back to a certain abbreviate when you press Continue and review your address. LSC changes your abbreviations/variation to their abbreviation. When I type "Drive" and click Continue with my order it changes to DR regardless of what I change Drive to.. I tried DRIV, DRV, and Drive but they all change to Dr when I press Continue.

LSC really patched this up good. The apt trick is patched too because if I try and use the apt thing with my address it says its not valid with the Postal service.

it still works i recived or 7 xbox 360 controllers so far 2 of them without arpartment trick
when u confirm on the website it will show it as not having an apt. number but in the email ur recieve it shows the apt number if u put it

I can't even put the apt thing there. It says its not a valid addresss with the Postal Service. They must of just patched that.

yeah putting "apartment 43" or something does not work. I would either contact LSC or find some variation. I live in a 2-house apartment so its only like apartment a and b. I had to put "left"(as in on the side) because putting just a letter or number did not work.

they look up your address using usps if its not valid the order won't go through.

So I just somehow got around the apt trick. I tried to order a controller on an account I've used before and had added a #118 after my address, clicked next step, and it told me my address could not be verified. Then I changed #118 to Unit 118 and it allowed me to proceed to the next step, but it removed the Unit 118 part from my address. However, when I checked my confermation email it displayed my address with Unit 118 included. I hope it works.

I don't live in an apt. I live in a house. The apt trick MIGHT still work if you use the word Unit insted of #. I'll let you know when I get my prize.

oh, when I ordered my prizes, the unit/apt also appeared in the confirmation emails (even though i don't live in one)

Last night I order the KitchenAide timer and put in Address Line 2 "Apt 12". I clicked next and on the information confirmation page it did not list the apartment, but in my order confirmation email it did. I hope I get my prize, and if and when I do I will try to remember to post on this site if the address tag has Apartment 12 or not.

(Also, I live in a house, no apartment.)
