I know this has already been asked, but has anybody successfully returned office ultimate back to best buy recently with no receipt and gotten store credit?

Well, I been thinking. This is what I'm going to do. Take it to Office Max (it should beep) take it to customer service and tell them I'd like to return it and conveniently set it down on the demagnetize thing! Tell them I would like cash back if it's possible?

I want them to deny it so I can return it to best buy with out it beeping for a better chance of credit!

Hope they say "No you need a receipt!" And then just say "Ok thanks I guess I will try to go find it!".

Now go to Best Buy (Hope theirs a black girl behind the counter! lol) and tell her that I received this as a gift from my aunt, but I already have office student ultimate and would like to return for store credit! If they ask for a receipt or gift receipt I will say that "I asked my aunt for the receipt but she said that she tossed it in the garbage." and hope for a credit!

What do you think?

It's really hard I tried 3 times at officemax, bestbuys, and staples and got nothing, but waste of gas. But if you keep on trying you'll get it. I'm going to do it again but on a holiday season.

I agree with you on this one! No CSA should be yelling at any customers at all! No matter how many time's you try to return something!
