If you are in Vista, right click the sound tool bar and open the volume mixer...

Go to Control Panel and click Sound. Under Sound tab, find "Window Explorer" and disable the sound "Start Navigation"!

Start/Settings/Control Panel/Sounds and Audio/Sounds/Windows Explorer/Start Navigation --- change that to none from the default sound.

Or like pretty much everything else in the world you could just google it and have your answer in 2 seconds......

Well...
A. I'm on XP.
B. I wanted to disable just the sounds from the bot.... not from the whole comp(I know how to mute...) ...I like to watch TV online. I missed the other night episodes of stuff... Forgot to record it on DVR too.
C. I always like to have a third point, even if it does nothing...

There is a setting somewhere that you can disable clicking noises... I just can't find where...
