Sometimes they even fix the problem. Emailing is not the problem...our activities are. Right now MS's TOS is designed to screw over anyone who shares a computer. e.g. College students. To me, MS is fraudulently promising prizes they never intend to deliver simply because roommates may share a computer. It is unrealistic to think that if one person is receiving free prizes online that their roommates won't also participate. Keep this in mind if you have to email them. Again, emailing DOES NOT EQUAL FLAGGING!!!! |

| Pro | emailing them is stupid and does nothing. first of all, if they arent shipping, they arent gonna tell you. second of all, it just raises suspiscion. Do you go ask your police officer if you look drunk/high? Do you go ask the walmart employees if they can see u on camera in the electronics isle? There's just some questions u dont ask cause it WONT HELP.

They're going to tell you some BS about "multiple accounts" like they have other people though. I don't think it will flag you as that order is already gone and will never come. If you need some kind of closure email them, if you want to keep some vain hope alive, don't. |

Reputation: 18 ![]() cBay Rating: | Reasons your account shows multiple Live IDs: You live in a dorm room or apartment with other college students, and you all play bing. You use the school's library computers to play bing and they are shared computers. Your entire building shares an internet connection. Your brother has been living with you for the past 6 weeks while looking for a job and has also been playing bing. Why wouldn't siblings tell each other about free prize sites? You use an open wifi connection at starbucks or panera bread. [Insert a custom excuse here] As you can see MS's TOS do not account for these people in their rules. Because they do not list these people as exculusions or list those conditions as situations in which they will not send prizes, they are actually defrauding them. So I say again...email them and complain. |

Reputation: 18 ![]() cBay Rating: | That doesn't even make sense. You've already lost the time and the money. And ooooh...you lost $2.50. Look, if you aren't receiving your prize(s) because of suspicious activity, then you aren't receiving them before you email them. If you aren't receiving your prize(s) and you email them and they scrutinize your account, you don't receive your prize(s). See? Nothing to lose. Nothing. Your time and money were spent long ago before you ordered the prize(s). And let's be honest with ourselves here, there is a certain degree of accepted potential loss on our part when we willfully try to cheat any site. |

Do you really think MS has the time to look into each account that emails them? You email them, they check the results of the program that evaluates our accounts. This same program is the one that canceled your order to begin with. They see that the program flagged you and they send you the standard letter. That's it. There is no reevaluation unless you demand it. And that can only go in your favor or remain status-quo. It cannot get worse. They cannot take your stereo, break your legs, or kill your dog. Stories of people emailing them and finding out that they were flagged, and others not emailing them and getting prizes, is hardly evidence. And it is completely unscientific and flawed. All that means is, that people who were flagged and emailed, got the result they were already going to get. I just checked the site and there are currently 1980+ people playing games on Bing. That is a sampling of one moment on a holiday. If people get to 1000 points in a generous period of 3 hours and we assume that my count is high, so let's assume 1200 people every 3 hours, all day....that's 28,800 account minimum on Bing. Even if only 1% emails Bing weekly, that is still 288 accounts to manually evaluate. If we assume they played Flex the whole time, that's 40 games a day, for probably 30 days. So, 1200 puzzles to look at for each person. Because according to the current belief structure, they dig deep into your activity. This is how and why I have been able to turn over several flagged accounts and get my prizes. It also helps to compose your letters professionally and not be demanding. In the cases we are talking about where they look at multiple Live IDs, you have similar options. NOTHING bad can happen that isn't already happening, i.e. you're not getting your prizes. If you can explain to them and show that their assumptions about you activities are wrong, you can get your prizes. One more point...cheaters don't seem to email them. Look at how many people are saying don't email. The numbers work in your favor. | |

Reputation: -42 ![]() cBay Rating: | I lvoe thios site...people call others idiots for not understnading how the site works...but then I see almost everyone here is dumb enough to think that e-mail will increase your chances of getting flagged. It won't. And you have to be a complete idiot to think it would. You are either flagged or you aren't. E-mailing them and asking about your prizes will not move you from the "not flagged" list to the "flagged list" because there is absolutely nothing incriminating about e-mailing. It is just funny how simplistic and wrong the thining is. "Well, veryone who has been told they were flagged had e-mailed...therefore anyone who e-mails gets flagged." Pretty stupid. Seriously..think about it logically and even you will realizing how stupid it is. (I e-mailed them about 3 items last year...got all three. And one time it was only because I DID e-mail them that I got it because the prize...the camcorder...got lost in shipping. they thought that they had shipped it but it got lost in the warehouse. Took several e-mails and a UPS investigation but i finally got my camcorder after 2 months after the item was supposed to have shipped. |
