Hey, I have some questions about the Vista Ultimate that Club Bing sends you.

1) Do you have to take off the watermark sticker if you want to sell it on eBay?

2) Will it be worth less if you open it? Cause I really want to use it, it looks hot . And how much less?

1) You should, but don't need to.

2) Yes, it will be because it'll be listed as opened. How much, I'm not sure. But regardless you still should just leave it closed if you plan on selling it.

The sticker probably won't deter any buyers who want to use it for themselves. But it may make resellers not want to buy it. And you never want to take away potential sellers. A hairdryer to heat it up while slowly peeling it will do the trick in half a minute so you may as well. (rubbing alcohol will remove any reidue left over very easily.)

As for yuour second question...Not only will that get you less money, but you would have to be VERY careful as to how you word it. Because selling it if you have already "tried" it on your own computer is technically illegal. At least I don't think itt is a multi-license copy. Ebay could pull your auction or even ban you if it is obvious that you are selling it after you already installed it on your own computer.

i dont know if anyone is even willing to buy it opened, not sure though. People ussually buy vista in the first place for that price because they know its legit. people who would buy it opened might as welll just bootleg it.

you should try to carefully remove the watermark, to avoid skepticism on the part of the buyer. and just restrain yourself and keep it closed, it's worth the extra cash

not to mention, if it's an open box OS, people will probably think that the serial has been used, or something like that
