returned zune car pack and dock yesterday. they would not accept headphones or cable pack. they did not offer me a giftcard, but allowed me to exchange for items in store.

got wii accessories and energizer battery charger w/ extra batts.

Apparently all the Office Depots in my area have a new rule, which is that you cant return any electronic without a receipt. No matter what you say, they will always say no. Soooooo......... Fuck my life.

"That was easy" It was really fast and easy, much better than returning stuff to circuit city.
The card I was given had a number on it, so I'm pretty sure it can be used online. The staples store near me has nothing I'd really be interested in.

Had another person do the 1st batch then went to another Best Buy for the vista and was denied (said it requires a receipt for that type of item). It seemed like it would have been accepted at the first Best Buy since they didn't ask hardly any questions and were perfectly fine returning 4 items with no receipt and needed no ID. Oh well.

IMPORTANT: THE BB EMPLOYEE SAID THAT POST-XMAS NO-RECEIPT RETURNS WOULD END ON JANUARY 8th!. This is from a Best Buy in the Bay Area, California.

same here in Arizona at one of the best buys they said $100 limit the next bb i went to was going to take my office 07 back but they no longer carried it in the store but the clerk said that is was bought at a best buy since it scanned in(even though i got it from CL)

so the $100 dollar limit is a per store limit some stores dont care about that rule
