Will be ordering this soon. I need comments and feedback on it and IF I need anything changed. Along with that, Ill be ordering the 4870x2 (Crossfire) and then I need suggestions for a monitor...was going to get the 26" DoubleSight, but they took it off.

That deal comes around about every week. The 2.66 Ghz Yorkfield is a waste of money, as 2.66 Ghz extra is not worth like $200 more. And you should also consider getting an nVidia GeForce 9800 GT or GTX or GX2. Also you should choose your screen carefully here: dealnews.com

It's up to you, I've just been looking for a cheap computer that's worth every penny, and that dell is loaded for about 500$.

memory, mobo, case and definitely sound card are wayyy too expensive

I don't see it set at quantity of 9....Its all set for quantity of 1 for everything.

If you have the money, dont go for HD4870's in crossfire. Get either the 9800GX2 or the GTX 280. Also, don't go for 1 large HDD, get 2 smaller Sata drives and set them up in Raid 0. You will get better performance.

Why go for the 9800GX2 when the HD 4870's are better? Also, what HDDs should I go for? From what I heard, better to have one HDD then 2.

Uhm - You are going to regret having a 7200 RPM Sata drive in the long run, perhaps it's the rest of my setup, but when I went up to a 10,000 RPM the thing ran sooo much smoother for loading onto memory or even transferring files around and deleting. Yes 1 HDD is better IMO, when you have 2 the second just ends up rotting anyway - unless of course your planning to dual boot.

That's one hell of an expensive sound card lol - Do you really need 7.1? :s And a pricy case - Do what I did, use your old school case and spray paint it blue and black
