My Girlfriend just got an Itouch 2nd Gen and she wants game on it, so shes about to buy games and I told her she can get them free, but I forgot how. Does anyone know how to get games free on Itouch 2nd Gen, games that you usually have to pay for? Thanks, +REP if you helped.

google "black rain" pretty easy to do, Id help u but I had someone else do it for me, all the apps are free that would cost money on the app store, plus you can do a lot of shit with it on Cydia, Megan Fox is my backround

check what firmware u have and then youtube:

i think u use black rain its its higher than 2.2.1

woah, if you mess up, hold down the power and home buttons for 10 seconds, this resets it. So there is no worry.

TUTORIAL:

Download redsn0w.

windows: http://thebigboss.org/hostedfiles/redsn0w-win_0.8.zip

mac: http://thebigboss.org/hostedfiles/redsn0w-mac_0.8.zip

linux: http://thebigboss.org/hostedfiles/re...ux_0.8.tar.bz2

OK now, find out the firmware version.. settings>general>firmware.

Download that 3.0 firmware version (for 2nd gen) at MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

OK now, the download should take a while.

Plug your iPod up and when iTunes pops up, and hold press the restore key (on iTunes) while holding down shift.

Now, a window should popup. Select the 3.0 firmware that you downloaded.

OK, now open redsn0w, and follow the instructions when you have already done the above steps.

WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED WITH REDSN0W:

Open cydia on the ipod touch, click manage, sources, add source.. then add: cydia.hackulo.us

OKAY. After that adds, under cydia search for appulous. Click it, and in the top right corner click install.

Wait for it to install, then restart your ipod.. Look at the homescreen and find the app called appulous.. open it. See the search button? Click it and search for an app. Click on the correct app when you searched. Then scroll down and cllick the newest version. Click the top site, enter the code, and click download. When finished downloading, click the middle tab, and find what you downloaded. Click it and click install. Now goto your home screen. Bazam!
