No, Sprint only activates phones with ESNs that are in their database, I have never heard of anyone getting sprint to add one to their database but you could always call sprint and ask.

depends if sprint is GSM or CDMA, I am sure verizon is CDMA, but some phones can work on CDMA or GSM. But sprint sucks man, fuck sprint, fuck ATT just get verizon. Sure its cheaper but dropped calls, shitty sounding calls, its not worth the maybe 10 extra bucks you save a month or so.

i talked to 4 different people (2 in store, 2 on the live chat) and they ALL told me in order to activate the phone not only does it have to be in the database, but it has to have the sprint logo on it. Sprint's gay like that, but why we use them is because they provide GREAT customer service and are just cheaper.

this is not true....it is possible to activate the phone on sprint but the sprint version of the software has to be loaded onto the cell phone.....the biggest problem is u have to get a rep to change the esn from the one to the other which is illegal to do so u will most likely not get that done....its a very very small possibility but it can be done just dont hold ur breath cause they run the risk of verizon suin the hell outta them if they even open the phone haha

also sprint has an android cell (i think its called the htc hero) and i messed with it and i gotta admit the touchscreen is very very nice and not plastic feelin like others i have seen.

yea, my aunts old bf works at sprint, so i keep sprint cuz unlimited everything for 15$ a month and we get phones for the contract price without a contract. Im probably gonna get the htc hero cuz it looks boss

i got the blackberry curve 8330 it dont suck, its the best phone ive used. and ive use alot of phones

Sprint has the HTC Hero. The Android 2.0 update WILL be rolled out to it, so that's really the only option right now for Android on Sprint.

There is another Android phone, the Samsung InstinctQ, which is supposed to be out by Black Friday. I would assume it would have the 2.0 upgrade, but I'm not positive. This phone is fat and ugly though!
