So I listed 2 windows 7 keys on ebay, both were bringing $60-$70 easy.. Then I get this email..I am not pleased.

You recently listed the following listing:

280415501764 - Windows 7 Ultimate (62bit or 32bit) Genuine/Unused key


The listing was removed because it violated eBay policy.

My auction got removed today too. I was selling an electronic and I used a pic from amazon. Whores said it was copywrited lol. Luckily my auction sold b4 it was removed

According to the Microsoft technet forum and Microsoft Genuine forum these keys are most likely from msdm/technet or volume licenses, you are not allowed to sell them and that's why they took it down.

The keys will get blacklisted within a year, it happened with the launch of vista, I know this because I bought one myself on ebay and was pretty ticked to find out it go "NON GENUINE" one day.

Thankfully Microsoft sent me a full retail version of windows 7 ultimate for free this year so iam happy. Don't look at me, im not a rat, but its obvious this wasnt going to last long because people will get jealous and report it to microsoft or ebay.

Then again it does suck to sell keys to people knowing full well it wont last.

The way I got my Windows 7 product keys is by my MSDN account. There is a method of getting an account for free but I will not tell anybody. I only told 1 person here, and that was ipodtouchwayne.
