This thread is for updates on the ongoing case with the scammer RedNeckChris. If you were scammed by him and not contacted Doom about it yet, it is recommended to do it now. If you already have sent him a PM then everything should be fine.

Basically RedNeckChris tried selling a bunch of games to a lot of users on CN and never really owned the games. He also claimed he shipped them out when he didn't. There was also another user he sold an Ipod or few other items to which he never owned or sent out as he claimed. With the help of Doom, Bomb, and the local NY authorities I managed to track down RedNeckChris' information. Through facebook I managed to contact his mother about getting a refund. It turns out that he had been lying about pretty much everything. Even his own age, family, address, and the fact he was a previous known scammer known as ipushpencils. Through his mother I have managed to discuss the terms of a refund that way we don't have to get the FBI involved (Yes FBI, I discussed this one of the two head offices in NY and they told me how everything should go down). The terms of the agreement was that I forward her the letters of each person involved stating they would not take legal action towards Redneck or his family as long as a full refund was properly awarded.

As of now all parties involved should have sent me their letter and I have forwarded these letters this last Thursday (A week later than said because I had Midterms and huge assignments due that first week of expected refunds) to Redneck's mother. Refunds should be around 50 dollars per week, although that number is not fixed. Weekly on Fridays was the agreed day but anytime it could happen.
The purpose of this thread is to update all the people involved on what is going on. Do not try to contact Redneck, I am doing this all by myself and it is working so I don't need him getting pranked or harassed as that will just end up messing everything up.

I hope bumping every time there is an update is fine with the staff as to inform people of an update. If that is wrong someone on the staff should let me know and I'll wait the required 24 hours for bumps.

10/03/09-
Got a message from Redneck's mother, she is having trouble getting paypal to accept the CC she is using. I told her to contact paypal support. The first batch of refunds will be sent out when this issue is resolved. Next update should be about the first refunds being sent out.

10/05/09-
Redneck's mother said she refunded two people for this weeks refund. PM me to confirm this please. moates and mcancel***** were part of the paypals addresses refunded.

10/22/09-
Was contacted by Redneck's mother and was told she has come down with the flu so payments are going to wait a week. She told me she still needed some letters so I think I might have missed one or two in the emails. She will tell me who still needs letters when she is feeling better. I will update when she replies again. Delay in payments till this is sorted out.

10/28/09-
Got a reply from the mother, two more refunds are going out on Friday.

Two people with the names TJ and Phoc have paypals that don't seem to be working. If the paypal you used has been limited or cannot receive payments let me know as she can't refund those accounts when she tried last week. We might have another 2 week hiatus as she seems to be visiting her aunt and uncle and they don't have internet there and wont be back till after Thanksgiving.
