Red face MySpace to lay off 30 percent of staff

Hi,

This is my first post to the forum, it’s very informative and enjoyable really.

According to Routers, Myspace will cut its staff by 30 percent. As you can guess, Facebook and Twitter are very powerful competitors of myspace. There are many more competitor in online community industry and I wonder which one will become most powerful. Any predictions?

Twitter/Facebook is a joke. Myspace has always been the better site. IMO They will prevail in the end.

Twiitter looks very un-organized... So I never looked into it.
Facebook is the adult version of a kiddies myspace.

Myspace is for teens mostly, and those Pedos.

It's MySpace VS Facebook really... Considering Facebook also gets shout-outs from people on TV shows.

You're funny.

Myspace still holds all the preteen emo kids and all the kids who they they're gangster. Facebook, however, does not. Twitter is getting a good work out with the situation in Iran.

This, you forgot the attention whores as well (mostly fat ones). If you love glitter graphics, shitty music on random pages, and annoying ads all over the place, Myspace is the place to be.

Twitter is just a bunch of garbage. The creators are making money off of everyone elses popularity (news stations, celebrities). Twitter needs to start paying the big name people to be a member of that site because if it wasn't for them, nobody would give two craps about it.

Facebook is getting boring. It was fine the way it was when it was just college students and none of the bs applications and quizzes junking up everything.
