How much would it go for cuz i have one that went out on me in December and i fixed it with x-clamp fix but now it wont come back to life.
How much would this go for? around $50 or so? I still have everything to go with it. If anyone wants to buy it let me know. You can use it for spare Parts.

Send it into microsoft i've sent like 4 xbox 360s that were mutilated inside and didn't have ANY warranty sticker in and got brand new ones back.

How you ask? They don't check, they simple get your xbox throw it into a pile and send you a new one. Fast and efficient.

I read it on the xbox360iso forums, the guy of course could have been lying but I don't really see the point.

I sure would try it with a console I didn't care about though.

My friend sent one in, had pennies inside the dvd drive was all busted and the board was cracked in half basically. Send it in with 3 rings lol (didnt even power on)

He got a brand new one

Whoa. Are you being serious? So, I could buy a broken one on eBay, ship it to MS and then they'll send me a new one?

Is there a manufacturing date that I should look for for them to consider in taking it?

Just make sure it's not over 3 years old and you can send it in saying oh E74 or oh 3 rings. And yeh im serious my friend did that. He also bricked a drive and sent it in so he could get a new one lol

They ask you the serial number to see if it is still under warranty. How do you bypass this?

He means if it still is under warranty, but the warranty is voided because the sticker is gone (void it while modding it)
