Im looking to taking up skateboarding
whats a good board to Start off on?

Go to a local skateboard shop, they have the best boards. The department store skateboards are cheap shit
I started off with a minilogo board, they're nice

wheels im not sure because i had blanks and im sure people like the brand name ones.

a piece of plywood and some bike tires with duck tape will work

I've always wanted Tony Hawk's original Skateboard. Idk if it was his first one but it was in Tony Hawk Pro-skater 1. Good luck with finding a good SB

you dont need anything real expensive, but def not a wallmart board, i have enjoi really great light etc

For a brand name board you can get 2 blank decks...

they are pretty much the same.

Just get a somewhat cheap one from a skate shop. If you end up liking it research it a bit more but start off with a cheap board so you don't feel as bad if you quit or break it.

dude im a skater i went from

1st setup = cheap as setup
2nd setup = boom deck same industrials blank wheels abec 7s
3rd setup = shop deck with industrial trucks abec 7s and blank wheels
4th setup = element muska tagged deck destructo glow in dark trucks black panthers 7s ricta wheels
5th setup = real deck new irrom wheels and trucks and brearings same old

yeah so if i were you id start up at a blank and some decent trucks and wheels average and decent bearings

1st setup i learnt = ollie, shuvits, move on board properly
2nd setup i learnt = kickflip sketchy, olliemanual ollie sets
3 4 5 setup i learnt = ollie bigga sets kicky heelflip varial fakie tre nollie nose manny. manny other shit ect...

That has abec 3 bearings: Bad

My little bro got a $10 complete board from Kmart. -Sucked to above and beyond.

Then got a board from Sports Authority for $80 that has abec 7 bearings.

Get a board from a department store, since you're just starting out. Make sure it has at least abec 5 bearings or better.

Ok ill try to find one, on that site looks like they don't have any they have blank boards but not an with abec5
