Yah noone ever leaves feedback anymore. Feedback system fails since they changed it for the sellers. I had this douche buy my item and had to file a dispute to get him to pay. He pays and than does a bank reversal and of course PayPal gives him his money back. I cant as a seller give him negative feedback anymore and he will probably pull the same shit with someone else.

I got a guy who keeps begging me for feedback. I told him already I do mass feedback at end of the month. He was a buyer too, not like he really needs it!

Well, perhaps you shouldn't be a lazy SOB, and you should just give him the feedback.

Seriously. I did my first auction the other week for a gift card. Given that it sold for $290 or so, and that it was my first auction on ebay, paypal has had a hold on it. They would only remove the hold once 3 days had passed since it was delivered, or once 21 days since the payment had passed, or if the seller gave me positive feedback.


It's been 4 days now since the tracking number I provided to ebay has stated that the gift card was delivered. Jerk still hasn't given me positive feedback, so my $290 is still in a hold.

Moral of the story: Don't wait to do feedback. You're a **** if you do.

He was a BUYER not a seller, I leave all buyers feedback once a month.

Also i think paypal should release funds if it delivered.

That sucks.

I always leave feedback before the item is to be delivered. Giving 5 stars before they see the item gives you a much better chance of receiving 5 stars yourself. You can not leave negative feedback, if you are the seller, so leaving 5 stars is your best bet. You can not nuke the buyers now, so why not leave the feedback. Waiting for buyer feedback is the old way of thinking.

Feedback is optional, so I leave it when I leave it. Feedback doesn't do anything for buyers anyway. I wont leave a buyer feedback before they leave me feedback because if they turn out to be an asshole or a scammer they don't deserve + feedback.

Leaving prompt feedback is about being courteous. I'm not saying you need to do what Commodore said, I'm just saying that you're quite rude for not leaving timely feedback.
