I've been teaching a class for about a week in my high school because the real teachers been out for like 4 weeks, and along with my interim report today comes a deposit stub and a note.

Apparently, I'm getting paid now, without being a certified teacher. But it's direct deposit.

Is this legal?

No lol, but keep it. If they offer it, the only ones that can get in trouble is the school, so get paid and do what your good at

im surprised if u did this it wasnt straight up cash... and a private school im guessing?
hmmm, im goin to say its legal in the sense that if anything were to happen, it cant b ur fault, tis thr fault for not getting a sub and u never asked for any cash...

Nah. Public school.

Well, they did get a couple of subs, but the subs couldn't teach us anything. And with interims coming up real soon, they just ditched the subs and brought me into the office, since I've had programming experience.

It was like $120 for a week.

Seem fishy?

DO IT! Seriously, it's a good deal. You get paid and you can't get in trouble. I would do it in a heart beat if I were you.

dude ask for more!!! they are in a situation where they have to have some1 teach and if u refuse they cant...theyll have to pay more i am not joking do it

I am doing it. Still doing it.

Only problem is that I'm still a teacher and a student. So I have to balance my teaching with my own class work.

The hours I work?

It's 1st and 3rd period at my school which is all of 3 hours.

That's only a 15 hour week.

My mom is a public school teacher and she makes around 900 dollars per week, but she has her masters degree so they have to pay her more. I'll ask her what a sub usually makes per week.

Ask her what a sub should make if he was 16 and still in High School.

My Mom used to be a Sub in the Highest Paying county in Gergia and I asked her (Middle School)

Regular Ed (Full Day 7 Hours) $68 Im guessing your regular Ed too.

Half Day (3 Hours) $25
