Can someone please help me and my friend fix this problem? His site now says:

"Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (11)"

hope that helps, its what i did when this sorta thing happened to me

make sure the mysql file has the correct information

its not CN man, lol. He's not putting the proper port for mysql it seems.

But yes make sure he has the ports set up right.
