i would like to sell some stuff on amazon or ebay, but would like to know what you need and how much are there fees.....ex:if i was to sell something for 40 bucks!!!

Amazon MarketPlace:
I gave them my US Bank Account information and US Credit Card information.
eBay:
I attached a PayPal account along with my US Credit Card information. To PayPal I provided my US Bank Account information and US Credit Card information.

Sell a book on Amazon for $40 and expect to receive around $35.65. Then you have to pay for shipping, under $5 even if you shipped it USPS Priority [fast]. If you got it for $10, you made an easy $20. Amazon = type in UPC code into search box, select condition, type a paragraph, type price, done. So, so fast!

They take a percentage of the selling price depending on what you sold. Varies from 6-15%.

There's also a $0.99 fee for each transaction, which is waived if you subscribe to be a Pro Merchant. It costs $39.99 a month so it's only worth it if you plan to sell a lot of things on Amazon for a long term period.
