I bought some rhapsody codes off him on August 20th about 9pm it was later in the evening when i got the codes. The codes stopped working on the 21st.

I posted that day that the codes were invalid. I waited it out a little longer till next day in case it was an issue with the sit and asked him for a refund. He told me no because he didn't have the money and it wasn't his fault. If you buy an item from a store and its broke, its not their fault, but they return it and give a refund. So like I said its the proper thing to do. I refunded people I sold to. SO quit being a fucking prick and refund my money.

I did not get a chance to enter any codes. So the codes he sold me didn't even work for 24 hours. I have checked the forum times and the time I made payment and the codes stopped working under 24 hours from purchase.

I am making this thread now because it slipped my mind because I am fairly busy. I stumbled across someones post of them having problems on ebay with someone they sold codes too.

So b4n3, I want my fucking $35 back. Like I said its only good business.

We've been over this like 5 times. I sold the codes when they worked. It was out of my control that Rhapsody went and invalidated them 2 days after I sold them to you. You had 2 days to use them or sell, it was your choice. Paypal shows that you paid on August 20th but the codes didn't go invalid until August 22th. You already tried to file a claim on paypal saying I didn't send them and failed. So say what you want but I didn't scam you. I sold Dopex codes on the day they went invalid and I refunded him. You on the other hand had 2 days to use them and it wasn't my fault that Rhapsody did what they did. You've been the asshole here not me. Cussing me out in PMs and posting insults on paypal lol. Thats just childish. And another thing, this happened nearly a month ago and now you decide you want a refund?

I escalated the claim because paypal wont do shit unless the claim is escalated. Why would I give you time to post anything anyway I already politely asked for a refund and you pretty much told me off because you didn't have the money or it wasn't your fault, but you do owe me $35. So just be a man and refund the money. Paypal already closed the claim because it was a virtual item, so now all I can do is hurt your virtual ego. I'm sure you young kids care so much about the internet anyways.

You still had time to use them and they worked when I sold them. How does that make me a scammer? You took the risk in buying promotional codes which say on the FL website that they can be invalidated by Rhapsody at anytime. I sold the codes when they worked, not my fault Rhapsody invalidated them. I'm in no way a scammer because I won't give you a refund. You got the codes as is, you had time to use some and you did according to a PM you sent me:

To be honest I did sell a few, and I wanted to get some songs that are hard to find that rhapsody might of had, but my account was banned. I had sold some of my own a like 2 days before and the day before they went bad and I refunded to any one who had problems. Why because its the right thing to do and results in less hassles and harassment from paypal.

I think im going to have to take b4n3s side on this. As long as ooobongooo actually received the codes when they worked, he had time to redeem them. Bong also lied to paypal by saying that b4n3 didn't send them at all (according to his post), not like that really changes much but it goes into consideration.

Yes I did say I sold some 2 days before they went bad but those were codes I had botted on my own. I only started buying them because of them changing to the thing where they email them. It was more work since you had to login to email accounts and get them out, thats why I bought more so I wouldnt have to mess with the bot.

What you think I actually read the TOS.

Your fault for not reading the TOS of the codes. No one held a gun to your head and made you buy them. You took the risk in buying them.

If I was someone you sold the codes to and said they expire October 31st 2008 and I didnt know anything of a the feelliberated site, and I bought them then what would you say?

Thats a copy of the PM you responded to me with saying that I had a day to use them.

FL said they would expire 10/31 and thats what I posted but further investigation on their site/emails it says they can be invalidated at any time by Rhapsody for no reason. They worked when I sold them and there was no way for me to know they would actually invalid them. It was your responcibility to check their site and research what you were buying and the risk you were taking.

And yeah, you were polite until this month. I was being honest last month, I didn't have the money. You started to get very rude about me not wanting to refund you and you've taken that to a new level with insults here and on paypal. :glare:

Here is a thing all u should know. When you have a code for ANYTHING online, use it ASAP. I have gotten numerous things where the company cancelled the codes.

just some examples

- papa johns virtual gift cards
- dale and thomas popcorn
- dell.com
- rhapsody

I had to refund a few people becuz they were invalid but that was ebay.
U are taking a risk buying CODES online becaise at anytime they can become invalid and there will be fights.

I am not siding w/ anyone.

also realised he botted for all those codes, so thrs always a risk of not getting it etc.

Not if I used/sold some of them and had time to actually use them myself. Its not my right to ask the seller for a refund when he provided working codes and had no control over the risky promotional codes. Codes I took a risk in paying for in the first place.

I think ur out w.e. money u paid. He did sell them to u when they did work and i think u payin for somethin and not usin them within 24 hours of buyin them is ur fault. I understand u have alot to deal with at school and regular life but he had no way of knowin they were gonna die in 24 hours after the sale. Its a gamble and u took the chance so just bit ur tongue and go about ur day. He cheated to get those codes so u have to take into acct that the company might come after the codes they gave out.

As for the harrasin thats just fucked up. U paid for somethin and u did recieve dont hound for ur money back because theres probably a way he can attack u 10 times harder then u attack him but again thats just my opinion and u guys figure out what ur gonna do.

I don't see how but I don't care. I'm standing up for what I believe. I'm not a scammer, I sold working codes and am not liable for what Rhapsody did. The risk was taken by him.
