Reputation: 17 ![]() | lol dude, i dont get why you guys are saying that the 84 is bad? in fact, it is way better. more memory for stat storing, more ram, more features please explain? yeah chewy the 84 is good but, personally, I would pay the $120 and get the 89. It is so much better. it can solve equations for you and stuff. you can use it for all your math courses |

Reputation: 17 ![]() | wait who said ti89 cant be used on SAT???? whattt? the 2 times i took it I used a ti-89. One time i forgot my ti89 in my locker so i went to staples and bought one and on the cover it saids allow on SAT. I returned it right after the test lol. Trust me TI-89 PWN 84 and 83. If you get a retarded teacher watchin over the test you can cheat on the vocab section. download the dictionary to your ti-89 and u can look up words. you can download games too. get a 89 chewy u can def afford it easily. lol In the United States, the TI-89 is allowed by the College Board on all calculator-permitted tests, including the SAT, some SAT Subject Tests and the AP Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, and Statistics exams. However, the calculator is banned from use on the ACT, the International Baccalaureate, the PLAN and in some classrooms. source (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TI-89) Last edited by aznbadboi; 08-19-2008 at 01:44 AM.. |
