For you I'd recommend someting like VB .NET, Auto-It, or even Batch. These are as simple as it gets. Google Auto-It especially.

Start out with Vb.net

and move into C# - simple web form submissions can be done in this

VB is good but I like AHK better. @ above C# is a bit rough to learn if you are not used to object oriented programming
