Freedom of Speech is one of the pillars of our society and our democracy. The Internet is an incredible tool and absolutely personifies freedom of speech. Can it go too far? I recently saw a video of several teenage girls beating the crap out of another teenage girl, all captured on video. It made the internet almost instantly along with CNN. Why would people do something so obviously wrong and illegal and put it on video tape? The only reason I can see is fame. I suppose there is some kick out of seeing your video on the internet, instant fame. Now, how many other teens will beat another teen so their video can get on the internet? Will murders and rapes be glorified next?

I was reading a list of the most visited websites on the internet. Number 7 on the list was youporn. Youporn is a site that features videos by just " normal " everyday people who want the world to see them having sex. OK, go ahead I don't really care, doesn't affect me one way or the other. What did bother me though is that anybody can access that site by simply clicking one button that says " yes, I'm 18 ". Ok, let's get real. What stops a 7 year old from clicking " yes " and getting a complete sex education on every possible facet of sexual relations. Is this freedom of speech?

A pedofile on the west coast sponsors a website that glorifies " child love". Other pedofiles post on this site as to why " child love " is normal and natural. Guess what, it's a completely legal site. Why? You guessed it Freedom of Speech.

It's against the law to shout " Fire " in a crowded movie theater to avoid trampling people rushing to get out. Shouldn't there be just a little bit of common sense used on the internet?

The folks at " The Cheating Network " post ways to steal money from Boomertowne. They encourage people to post bots to rack up points and steal money. They claim they're not stealing, they're just posting a forum.....that teaches people to steal.

Soon you'll be asked to accept terms and conditions to access Boomertowne. You'll only have to do it once. We have prepared supeonas to serve on some of the cheaters we spot regularly. We are going to file both civil and criminal actions against each and every individual as well as those sites and owners of sites that teach people to steal. We're going to give these people criminal records. In this case Freedom of Speech will have a price.........Freedom.

One of our founding fathers said " I may not agree with what you say, but I'll defend to the death, your right to say it". I agree, people should be able to express themselves. Free and open debate is what has made this country great.

What we as citizens have to do is make sure that this freedom is not lost because it was abused by bad taste. Just my humble opinion.

lol no. Breaks a EULA, not a law. They are full of BS. They contacted me and another site about we're breaking a certain Internet Fraud act.... it was total BS, it was regarding internet fraud like scamming, credit card theft, etc. And stuff about government agencies. I responded with what I know, no response since. This was last month...

either I am an idiot or I am understanding this right but the way I am reading it they will only press charges after you accept the new TAC?

to be honest wouldn't be their fault for sending the items to our houses?
really we didn't go and knock out the windows in the warehouse and take the cards and run off they sent them to our house as gifts.
