I recently felt like swithing over my operating system to a more customizable one and decided to go with Linux mint 4.0 over mac or windows im a newb at it and i dont know alot of things i like to learn as i go.
But if any one can help me to use my bots that i used on my windows labtop on my new linux top i would appreciate it.

I downloaded them but cant figure out how to run them do i do a comand script and if i do how do i find the directory to point it to?

any help would be appreciated.

im not sure. im sure it does but when i just click the file nothing not a thing i can run it through a program called wine which emulates windows but im trying to figure out a easier way so i dont have to have multi. programs running all over the place.

Linux is not setup to run .exe files. You are going to need to use wine.

or get something like virtualbox and just run a virtual XP when you need it

shooter do you have linux? or do you use linux often?

You can use VM Ware to set p a Windows virtual machine

yeah true i just wanted to see if i could find a work around ill probably just use wine since i already have in installed thanks for everyones help.

Does any one here acctualy run a linux machine?

About 80% of the bots are built with and run on the .NET framework. The issue is that Microsoft makes .NET and therefore it does not run on MAC or Linux cores. But there are some ways to get around that.

slow what linux version do you run?
sorry im new to this im not sure if thats the correct way to ask but you know what i mean im pretty sure.
Im also looking to start programming and such. can you help me out with something when they come up?
