Due to a recent series of scamming, we're putting physical restrictions on the B/S/T Section. Due to some people being so incredibly gullible to trust brand new members that are clearly scammers, we are putting certain constraints on the B/S/T until further notice.

If you are just a regular user of the forums and currently only see "Registered User" as your member title, then you currently cannot post or make threads in the B/S/T section.

If you are just a regular user and you see "Senior Member" as your current member title, then you do have the ability to post or make threads in the B/S/T section of CN.

We'll be let aware by board systems once you meet basic requirements, then we'll manually review your account/history on CN, if it check's out, you'll be moved into the Senior Members group. There are no exceptions. Don't PM us, don't ask questions, and don't try to bribe us. We don't want your money, and we certainly don't want to waste our time reading your whiney PMs.

The B/S/T should now be a bit more of a safezone. But might I warn you, as you start to WTB, or FS things, you may receive PMs or IMs from people that do NOT have access to the B/S/T section. We can't stop you from doing business with them, and we highly discourage it, but it's your own damn fault if you get scammed. And if we find you doing business ON CN via PMs or OUTSIDE the BST in any sort(Signature's or other crazy things), it'll result in a ban depending on its severity.

The reason we are enforcing such strict regulations is for your own safety. If you end receiving a PM from a member that registered just this week that makes an offer for your goods, it's 100% your fault if you get scammed. I won't help you find or track him down. If it's the opposite way around and the new member is trying to sell a product to Ron Paul or Psyduck via PM for example, just report him ASAP and we'll deal with them right away.

I'd also like to stress the past announcement by Slashmolder(Which I believe is stickied in the B/S/T section) that you need to be aware who you are selling too. If someone claim's the following "yo im doom from CN and im an admin" and wants to buy your product, ask to verify who they are on the boards by sending them a PM, and getting a response. If they fail to do so, don't do business as they probably aren't who they claim to be. There are imposters out there, so be very careful when you do transactions over AIM/MSN.

We'll probably be hiring 1-2 more B/S/T Mods in the very near future. It's currently pending approval of Chewy. If it does go through, a new announcement will be made, and applications will open for 3-5 days. Keep a eye out if you would like a chance to gain a B/S/T Moderator position.

This is a great idea. But if you ask me people should have the common sense not to trade brand new members in the first place.
