Honestly it's not that hard to acheive the requirements. All it wants you to do is be active on the forum. I think it's also in place to prevent people coming here just to sell.

Just because you have the title under your name, does not mean you've been approved.

You needd a lot of posts, Doom's approval and some amount of Rep. No one knows how much Rep you need exactly.
