Well, we've been somewhat obvlivious to the fact that many people have had signatures far bigger in both pixel size and file size then they really should. It's gotten to the point where it's just disruptive and annoying to normal forum use to view certain signatures. Honestly, if you your sig is over 500kb, It's not meant to be a sig. Plain and simple.

We've always had signature rules, but they never really have been enforced. Starting now, there will be a few day grace period for those that have sigs outside the bounds of these rules. You'll have the oppertunity to remove your sig and swap it with a smaller version or something different infraction-free. However, After 3 day's we'll start infracting for oversized sigs along with the removal of it.

Signature Rules

• No signature bigger than 500x150 pixels.
• 4 lines of text maximum, No abuse of MASSIVE font size or a infraction/ban will be given.
• Your Signature can be no larger than 500KB.
• A combined height of images is OK. ie: Two 500x75 pixel images stacked within the sig is allowed
• No adult conent, i.e. porn.
• Don't advertise your sites, blogs, or anything like that. You can have your referrals in your signature, but don't have a blogspot or something and link to that, and that links to you referrals.
• Nothing that is meant to be offending another member.

Anything bigger dosn't fit well in the forum and is just an annoyance to load and scroll through. So don't be suprised if you see your sig missing and replaced with the "signature rules" text next time you post. It will be infraction free for the next 3 days, but if you are purposly putting up oversized sigs, they'll be removed and you'll get an infraction or even a ban.

These rules have been adjusted by myself after talking with Chewy, I've set the limits accordingly, Not him. They are still somewhat lax compared to other forums, so don't complain.

The "blogspot" thing is from our previous rules, You'd have to ask Chewy for exact specification, But I believe it's just an ad-filled blog people setup and also throw their reflinks in to generate cash.

I'll point out an example if I see one, but things like Twitter is fine if that's what you are wondering.

It's hard to have exact rules about it all. What about if you have the max image size + text? I'm sure some people's will still be pushing the limits and it not be clearly cut in the rules. It should be up to the mod's discretion as well for those odd cases.

I knew my superbad sig wouldn't fly for long, thats why I only uploaded half. =D

Yeah it can be kind of tough, but I think the rules should have most of it covered for now. You'll be allowed 4 lines of text at any given time, that's wether you've got an image or not.

I've updated them so they should be mostly finalized.

So legitimate blogs we actually use and post in and actual sites we update in a timely manner are allowed in the sig?
