nforti17 - I suspected that that was happening. I checked the correlation for my IP and account bans. My IP ranges from 68.190.x.x to 25.64.x.x, but I suspect they are looking at my host. Technically it's a dynamic IP, but the IP is tied to your MAC address, so if you change the MAC, you get a new IP. Right now, if I geolocate my IP it shows me in a city 2 hours north of where I really am, so I've tried to make my info match my IP location. I figure, if my neighbor signs up tonight, they would probably get banned since their net info should closely match mine (same gateway and DNS.) Time to check for open wireless or crackable WEP I suppose. |
