Anyone could scam you at any point in time.

People can change.

Trust is a hard thing to gain.

But doing something like this is just to an extent which is too far in my opinion.

I, in the begining was not a high posting decent rep user.

We have moderators and administrators for a reason. To check users ip's and posts.

If they happen to miss something or there's nobody available then there is a report button users can press and you can write what the issue is, so when the moderators and administrators are online they can see what has happened.

My point is that everyone here could be a scammer or spammer. It can happen in a matter of seconds. I say give noobs a chance, if they sound even the slightest bit sketchy don't deal with them.
Don't just ignore people with negitive rep, find out how they got it, this could mean checking out their posts ect.

I agree with all of this. We have a very good BST area and there is no reason to be neutering new members. The staff is here of a reason.
