For anyone looking at ticket amounts, remember some saaver awards are snatched up a year in advance for peak times. I suggest budgeting the worst (Aanytime award) and then if you find a saaver award you can consider it a half-price sale.  |
From LAX to Narita its 50k economy class one way and same the way back. This is in late October. I've done the same with JAL, but American Airlines sucked flying from CA to NY. So I can't imagine flying 14 hours with AA.
